Navigating Discipline: Building a Path to Success will focus on discipline strategies that set your child up for success. We will discuss techniques to avoid power struggles and provide guidance on navigating the education system. Participants will learn practical approaches to foster positive behavior and support their child’s academic and emotional development. Please note the events on 3/11 and 3/12 are the same workshop.

The Let’s Talk: Parent 2 Parent series, presented by Janel Parker, LCSW, is specifically designed for parents and guardians who are caring for children with mental health conditions. It’s primary goal is to reassure participants that they are not alone in their journey, while offering clear, accessible insights into common mental health diagnoses affecting children. Throughout the workshop series, participants will gain valuable strategies to address both external and internal stigma, explore effective and compassionate discipline approaches, and receive practical tips on how to navigate the complexities of the school system.
